ROs summoned in Shehbaz Sharif, Hammad Azhar's nomination papers cases

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The appellate tribunal has summoned the returning officers in the Shehbaz Sharif and Hammad Azhar's nomination papers case. 

A hearing was held on the appeal against approval of Shehbaz Sharif’s nomination for NA-132. 

In this regard, the position was adopted in the appeal that the former prime minister does not fulfill the requirements of Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution. 
 
The appellate tribunal has issued notice to ROs and sought their arguments. 
 
Hammad Azhar 
 
A hearing was held on the appeal filed against the rejection of the nomination papers of PTI leader Hammad Azhar.
 
The argument in the appeal has been that the RO rejected the nomination papers contrary to law. 
 
Founder of PTI 

On the other hand, the appeal against rejection of the nomination papers of PTI’s founder from NA-122 has been fixed for hearing.

Appellate Tribunal judge Risal Hasan Syed will hear the appeal tomorrow.
 
Maryam Nawaz 

A hearing will be held tomorrow on the appeal against approval of the nomination papers of Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president and chief organiser of PML-N from NA-119 constituency.
